Privacy Policy.
Last updated: May 28, 2026 · Covers thesentari.com and the Sentari Chrome extension
01 · Who we are
Sentari Workforce Intelligence is operated by Premier Services, which acts as the data controller. We provide applicant-side hiring risk analysis as a consumer-protection tool — our customers are job seekers, not employers. This policy covers both thesentari.com and the Sentari — Job Risk Check Chrome extension.
02 · What we collect
Account: email and an optional display name. Scans: URLs, pasted text, or email addresses you submit. Reports: details you provide when reporting a job. Billing: name, email, and country are collected by our payments provider (Paddle) when you subscribe. We do not collect résumés, government IDs, or full payment card numbers.
03 · How we use data
To produce risk assessments, persist your scan history, generate aggregate transparency statistics, improve detection models, and fulfill subscriptions. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
04 · AI-powered job and recruiter verification
Sentari uses large language models to analyze job postings, recruiter messages, and company information for signs of scams, fake roles, identity misuse, and other applicant-side risks. Scan content is sent to AI providers (such as Google and OpenAI) through our gateway for analysis only. Providers process data under their respective privacy terms and do not train on submitted content under our gateway configuration.
05 · Data retention
Scan records persist while your account is active and are deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Aggregated, de-identified statistics may be retained indefinitely.
06 · Sharing
We share data with: (a) infrastructure providers (hosting, database, AI gateway) under standard data-processing agreements; (b) Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, which handles all payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund processing — Paddle acts as an independent controller for transaction data; (c) professional advisers; and (d) authorities where required by law.
07 · Your rights
You may export, correct, or delete your data at any time by contacting us. We honor GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent applicant-data rights.
08 · Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Row-level security restricts each user to their own records. API keys are hashed before storage. We follow least-privilege access controls and disclose material incidents promptly.
09 · Children
Sentari is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10 · Changes
We will post material changes here and notify active users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Sentari — Job Risk Check (Chrome extension).
The following section applies specifically to the Sentari Chrome extension and is provided to comply with Chrome Web Store user-data requirements.
E01 · Single purpose
The Sentari Chrome extension exists for one purpose: to let job seekers run an on-demand risk check against a job posting they are currently viewing, and to display the result inline on supported job sites (LinkedIn, Indeed, Wellfound, Glassdoor).
E02 · When webpage content is analyzed
The extension analyzes a webpage only when you explicitly initiate a scan by clicking the Sentari "Scan" button on a supported job page. It does not read, transmit, or analyze pages in the background, on page load, or when you are browsing other sites. No automatic, passive, or continuous monitoring takes place.
E03 · What the extension sends to Sentari
When you initiate a scan, the extension sends the current job page URL (and, where applicable, the visible job title and company name from the page DOM) to the Sentari API for analysis, authenticated by your personal API key. It does not send your browsing history, cookies, form inputs, passwords, payment information, or pages outside the supported job sites.
E04 · Local storage used by the extension
The extension uses chrome.storage.local on your device to store: (1) your Sentari API key so you don't have to re-paste it; (2) the API base URL preference; and (3) a 24-hour local cache of recent scan results, keyed by URL, to avoid redundant calls. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension or clear extension storage.
E05 · Permissions and why
storage — to remember your API key and cache scans locally. activeTab — to read the title/company/URL of the job tab when you click Scan. Host permissions for linkedin.com, indeed.com, wellfound.com, and glassdoor.com — to inject the Sentari risk badge UI on supported job pages. Host permissions for thesentari.com — to call the Sentari scan API.
E06 · What the extension does NOT do
It does not collect browsing history, track which sites you visit, read cookies or passwords, capture form inputs, inject ads, execute remote code, run analytics or telemetry, or share data with third parties. It does not transmit anything until you click Scan.
E07 · Account and scan data from the extension
Scans initiated via the extension are stored under your Sentari account on the same terms as scans run on thesentari.com — see the sections above on retention, sharing, and your rights.
