What an Employer Trust Score Means

Employer Trust Scores measure hiring credibility — the probability that engaging with this employer leads to a real job and a real paycheck. They are not workplace-happiness ratings.

How to read the tiers

  • Verified (85+) — Confirmed legal entity, consistent hiring history, clean recruiter activity.
  • Standard (60–84) — Legitimate but limited public footprint or recent reputation events.
  • Caution (40–59) — Mixed signals; verify the specific recruiter before engaging.
  • High risk (<40) — Evidence of impersonation, ghost listings, or scam activity.

How scores update

Scores are recomputed nightly when new postings, complaints, or verifications land. Verified employers can claim their profile.
